In tonight's update, Vince covers:
1) U.S. equities advanced for the fourth straight session today while inflation and treasury yields continue to climb. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 253.04 points, the S&P 500 added 35.69 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 130.10 points and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 27.15 points.
2) Bonds traded significantly lower today causing yields to spike once again. The 10-year yield is currently at 2.907 percent. Gold and Crude Oil Futures posted significant gains today while the U.S. dollar experienced more selling and is getting very close to its next major level of support.
3) CSCO reported earnings after market close and beat expectations on revenue of 11.9 billion, a 3% increase year-over-year. The company also announced a 14% dividend increase, as well as, an additional $25 billion dollar increase to their stock repurchase program. The stock was trading 7% higher in after-hours Trading.
