1) U.S. equities completed a strong follow-through day as the four main stock indexes traded in record territory once again. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 98.67 points, the S&P 500 added 17.25 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 58.63 points and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 2.56 points.
2) Gold futures traded slightly lower today while bonds, crude oil and the U.S. dollar all posted gains. Crude oil futures powered forward by over 2% and looks poised to clear the May 2015 high of $62.58.
3) FAANG stocks followed through nicely today as most closed significantly higher. The same could not be said for TSLA as it dropped after announcing that it came up short on model 3 deliveries and pushed back production targets.
