Small Caps Breakout -Vince Vora's Market Update January 11th, 2018

In tonight's update, Vince covers: 1) Better-than-expected earnings reports from Delta Airlines and KB Home kick-started a rally that lasted all day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 205.60 points, the S&P 500 added 19.33 points while the Nasdaq 100 closed higher by 58.21 points and the Russell 2000 finished higher by 26.99 points. 2) Stocks weren't the only ones making big moves today. Gold futures continued their advance towards a 4-month high while crude oil futures briefly traded above $70 today before easing and the U.S. dollar reversed its gains from the past week. 3) Investors are feeling good about the overall markets currently but are also very optimistic about this earnings season and what it could mean for their portfolios. Tomorrow we will get earnings announcements from Wells Fargo, JP Morgan and Blackrock followed by Citigroup, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs which all report next week.
