1) Stocks closed higher once again on Friday on the likelihood of a Republican tax bill getting approved. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 143 points, the S&P 500 added 23 points while the Nasdaq-100 jumped 80 points and the S&P 500 closed higher by 23 points.
2) It was a fairly quiet end to the week for Gold and Crude Oil futures along with TLT (20yr+ Treasury Bond ETF). The U.S. dollar however, bounced back strongly on Friday and is still showing signs of a potentially much bigger move ahead.
3) There are five more trading sessions before the Christmas holiday and they will be packed with news.
